In accordance with the Law on Recognition and Validation of Acquired Professional Experience (RVAEP) published in the Official Journal Le Moniteur on February 25, 2019 (number 174, special #6), voted in the Chamber of Deputies in April 2017 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-20575-haiti-news-zapping.html and in April 2018 by the Senate https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24001-haiti-politic-two-important-bills-passed-in-the-senate.html , the Ministry of National Education following the provisions of articles 17, 18 and 19 of the Law, informs that it was created within the Ministry, a National Commission of Development of Validation of Acquired Professional Experience (CNDVAEP).

Remember that the Validation of Professional Experience Acquired (VAEP) is a new way to access certification outside the initial training system. This measure allows any person, regardless of age, level of education or status, to validate their professional skills acquired in companies or outside companies to obtain professional certification (3 years of experience related to the content of the certification referred to are usually necessary).

This Commission is responsible for defining and implementing VAEP promotion actions and facilitating among others :

• Coordination and validation of Government actions;

• Actions to make the validation device visible and understandable;

• The pooling of resources made available, notably by proposing a schema organizational for training courses that may be open;

• Improvement of guidance, support and validation methods;

• The coordination of statistical services, and VAEP observation;

• The mobilization of companies, employers' associations, training institutions, public bodies, private institutions and national and international partners around the Validation of Acquired Professional Experience.

The CNDVAEP is headed by a Coordinator, appointed by the Minister of National Education who will be appointed soon and who will be responsible for, inter alia : preparing policy documents and ensuring the implementation of the guidelines defined by the Commission; to enforce and enforce compliance with legislation and specifications relating to the VAEP system and to direct, animate and organize the work of the staff assigned to the Commission.
