The Ministry of National Education has released a NEW school calendar 2019-2020. The revival of school activities is scheduled for December 2nd.

This year there will be 147 school days and 6 days off. The number of teaching hours will be 735 hours for the fundamental and 882 hours for the secondary.

Control periods :

Control 1 : 10 to 14 February 2020;

Control 2 : April 20-24, 2020;

Control 3 : June 22 to July 17, 2020;

Official Exam Dates :

Permanent baccalaureate : from February 17 to 21, 2020;

9th AF: June 29 to July 1, 2020;

Normal Schools of Teachers (ENI) : June 29 to July 3, 2020;

Family Education Centers (CEF) : June 29 to July 3, 2020;

End of secondary studies Exams : July 13-17, 2020;

Technical and Professional Training Examinations (FTP) : July 27 to August 27, 2020.

Opening dates closures :

Relaunch of school activities : December 2, 2019;

Stop / end of year holidays : December 23, 2019;

Relaunch of school activities : January 7, 2020;

Stop / Carnival : February 21, 2020;

Resumption of courses : February 27, 2020;

Stop / Easter Holiday: April 8, 2020;

Resumption of courses: April 13, 2020;

Closing of the class: July 17, 2020.

Submission of class formation list for fiscal year 2019-2020. December 30, 2019 to January 31, 2020;

Submission of State exam registration form : December 30, 2019 to January 31, 2020;

Registration for the Permanent Bac (1st Session): 13 to 24 January 2020;

Registration for the 2019-2020 State exams (for newcomers) : January 13 to February 14, 2020

Special Day of Survey : April 3, 2020

Registration for the Permanent Baccalaureate (2nd Session): 19 to 29 May 2020

Days off :

1st and 2nd of January 2020 Independence Day and Day of the Ancestors ;

February 24 and 25, 2020: Carnival;

February 26, 2020: The Ashes;

April 10, 2020: Good Friday;

May 1, 2020: Labor Day and Agriculture Day;

May 18, 2020: Feast of Flag and University;

June 11, 2020: Feast God.
