15 kidnappings in 21 days

Wednesday, Commissioner Michel-Ange Louis Jeune, Spokesperson for the National Police of Haiti (PNH) revealed during a balance press conference that from January 1st to 22, 2020, in the metropolitan area 15 cases of kindnapping were reported (8 in the city center, 4 in Delmas, 1 in Léogâne (South), 1 in Clercine (Tabarre SUd-Est) and 1 in Croix-des-Bouquets) without being able to say how many hostages had was released by the police. A police offcier killed in the city center

FAO : Project for 1,200 women farmers

José Luis Fernández, the Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), met with Evelyne Sainvil the Minister for Women's Affairs, around a socio-economic empowerment project of rural women which will benefit 1,200 women farmers in the South East.
