Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the Minister of National Education accompanied by his Director of Cabinet Jackson Pléteau and his Director of communication Miloody Vincent held a working meeting this week with the Cuban Ambassador accredited to Haiti, Luis C. Campos, who was accompanied for the occasion by two senior officials of the Cuban Embassy, ​​Mario Amaro, Advisor for Collaboration and Julio Sierio, education brigade specialist.

This working meeting focused on Haitian-Cuban cooperation in education. At the end of the exchanges on the problems encountered in the implementation of the projects, the two men undertook to relaunch the activities planned within the framework of the action plan of this cooperation, in particular in the field of literacy.

To this end, particular attention will be paid to the functioning of the office of the Secretary of State for Literacy, which must ensure the steering of the programmed activities.

At the end of this meeting, Minister Cadet and Ambassador Campos reiterated their desire to work together for the benefit of the Haitian people.
