Haiti - FLASH Covid-19 : Passengers from 6 countries can no longer disembark directly in Haiti

Passengers arriving from China, South Korea, Italy, Iran, France and Germany will no longer be able to disembark directly in Haiti according to a press release dated March 9 from the Ministry of Interior and local authorities which requires airlines operating on national territory:

"[...] to take the necessary measures to prohibit the boarding of any passenger from the red zones (zones at high risk of COVID-19 contamination) having not spent 14 days outside of a safe area

Instructions are passed to the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration to ensure the strict application of this measure [...]"

China: 17,524 active cases

South Korea: 7,212 active cases

Italy: 7,985 active cases

Iran: 5,357 active cases

France: 1,370 active cases

Germany: 1,261 active cases

The Ministry of Health specifies that this list can be updated according to the evolution of the epidemic
