Haiti - FLASH : Suspension of public transport Les Cayes / Port-au-Prince
In order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus, Marie Claudette Regis, Deputy Mayor of Les Cayes and Betrand Banatte Head of the Association of Owners and Drivers of Haiti (APCH) advise the general public and travelers in particular that the Communale Administration of lEs Cayes in agreement with the APCH has decided to suspend public transport Les Cayes / Port-au-Prince on national road #2 from Monday April 6, 2020 at midnight (12h00 am) and until further notice.
Intermunicipal transport, for its part, will be carried out in accordance with the instructions and principles established by the country's health authorities : social distance 1.50 m, use of mask (mask), hand washing etc...
Anyone violating these measures and instructions will be penalized.
