Haiti - NOTICE : Partial reopening of the services of the French Embassy in P-a-P

The French Embassy in Port-au-Prince announces that it will reopen partially on Monday July 20 and then completely at a later date which will be specified according to the evolution of the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic in Haiti.

CONSULAR SERVICES :

In a first stage, from July 20, the following services will be available:

- Passports: delivery and delivery

- Civil status: declaration of birth, death and recognition

- Legalizations: requests received by this Embassy will be processed first before the confinement period. Once these requests have been processed, new appointments may be made for the filing of documents to be legalized.

Only people carrying out a procedure will be allowed to enter.

The visa service will remain closed during this first stage

The public will be received only by appointment made by email at the following address : afe.port-au-prince-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr

In order to preserve the health of visitors and agents, the reception of the public will be done by respecting the following sanitary measures :

  • Wearing a mandatory protective mask;

  • Taking a temperature at the time of entering the embassy grounds (above 38°, visitors will not be allowed to enter);

  • Obligatory hand washing before reaching the public reception area;

  • Use of a personal pen that visitors will need.

The strict observance of these instructions, necessary to reduce the risks run by each, will condition entry into the Embassy premises.

These reopening measures may be suspended at any time if the health situation requires it.
