Haiti - NOTICE : Resumption of classes and other academic activities in person at the UEH

Following the declarations of the Government putting an end to the state of health emergency in the territory https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-31395-haiti-covid-19-there-is-no-longer-a-state-of-health-emergency-in-haiti.html and at the various meetings of the Council of Deans held for the complete relaunch of activities at the State University of Haiti (UEH), Fritz Deshommes, the Rector of the UEH for the Council Executive, informs in a circular dated August 3, members of the UEH community in particular and the public in general that :

Text of the circular :

1) Classes and all other face-to-face academic activities are resumed in all UEH entities, from Monday August 10, 2020, Dean's Offices, Directorates, Management Council and Councils Directors are called upon to make the necessary arrangements to ensure compliance with the instructions of the Ministry of Public Health in the various faculties, schools and institutes of the UEH.

Additional precautions are also encouraged such as increasing ventilation in classrooms, assigning staff to requirements related to protection against Covid-19 and holding motivation and training sessions to combat the disease epidemic.

2) The various administrative services of the UEH, both at the central level and that of the entities, resume their regular functioning as from the publication of this circular.

3) Online courses continue to be encouraged."
