Michel Présumé, the new Director General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) announced last week the launch of the operation to restart the engines of the EDH "Operasyon relimen motè Ed'H yo".

This initiative aims in particular to rehabilitate and revive the various defective power plants of the EDH in order to gradually improve the supply of electric current.

To this end, major repair work is being carried out in power plants whose engines had been taken out of service following the use of poor quality fuel oil, ensuring that the results are already convincing and will be visible very soon.

In addition, remember that the spare parts to repair the engines of the Cap-Haitien power plant arrived in the country on August 6 and work began on Friday 7.

Straighten the company, changing the way the institution is managed, increasing production, making the business profitable and transforming it into a benchmark public company, these are indeed the main objectives that Michel Présumé has set for himself.
