Patrix Sévère, the Minister of Agriculture, in order to modernize the fishing sector and honor the promises made by President Jovenel Moïse to fishermen during his visit to this zone last month, proceeded on October 7 in Corail to the deliver of 7 fiberglass boats equipped with engines

In the presence of local elected officials and officials from the Ministry, these brand new boats were handed over to fishermen's associations. Of these 7 boats, 6 measuring 6m each have a 15 HP engine and will be sent to the fishermen of Corail and the 7th boat, 8m in length equipped with a 75 HP engine, will be delivered to the fishermen of the Cayemites Islands.

Note that these 7 boats were purchased by the Public Treasury.
