To participate in the celebrations of Livre en Haïti and as part of its 50th anniversary, the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) through its Francophone Digital Campus (CNF) of Port-au-Prince held this Tuesday, June 21, 2011, an "Open Day" under the theme "The online bibliographic resources of the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF)"

The opportunity to present to the public the offers of service of CNF of Port-au-Prince and the Agency's activities in Haiti : Open and Distance Learning (ODL), the portals of digital content (Savoirs en partage, ScholarVox AUF, Cairn.info, Harmathèque, etc...)

The day was marked by several activities, including among others: free navigation on the Agency Web sites, interactive presentations on the Open and Distance Learning (ODL), digital documentation and discussion sessions with visitors to answer their questions.

Thus, the animator-librarian of CNF of Port-au-Prince and communications officer for the for the Bureau Caraïbe, have welcomed and guided an attentive audience towards the universe of the AUF: the portal of open and distance learning (ODL) and the portals of digital resources that are proposed via the website of the Savoirs en partage, the platform of digital books "ScholarVox AUF", Cairn.info, Harmathèque, etc...

Initially, the public the public was able to take knowledge of the offers of formations (ODL), various international diplomas proposed, grants from the Agency as well as how to apply. It was also the opportunity to learn to motivate its candidacy when applying for a university education.

A second part was a demonstration of the use of the portals of digital resources of the Agency (The library of the Savoirs en partage of the AUD, the platform of digital books ScholarVox AUF, Cairn.info, Harmathèque) and how to create a user account on each platform. Each participant, installed in front of a computer, was able to browse on the sites of Savoirs en partage at the same time that the speakers to become familiar with the tools made available.

After hearing the testimonies of ODL graduate students, participants were able to meet members of the Bureau team with whom they shared their impressions and their projects in the medium and long term.

This day to the CNF has definitely opened the doors of the Digital education to an audience that recognizes that it has everything to gain by appropriating the techniques and tools.
