On the occasion of the new year, Lesly Condé former Consul General of Haiti in Chicago (August 2004 - May 2018), like every year, did not fail to deliver his wishes in a message that we invite you to read and to share.

Wishes from Lesly Condé :

"Dear compatriots and friends everywhere,

I am immensely pleased to speak to you as the year 2020 draws its bow to make way for a year 2021 that we all want filled with great achievements and pleasant surprises. For my part, I wish you all the wisdom and courage you will need to face trials with firmness, and to welcome victories with humility. I wish you, above all, good health and the foresight to manage it well.

We are at the time of the new resolutions which we firmly wish to apply. We will add, of course, those which, during the year 2020 were not executed for one reason or another. The beginning of the year is the time for all optimism. The glass is empty, and we propose to fill it impeccably during this period of three hundred and sixty-five days that we welcome.

It is customary for us to be affable and smiling during the holidays. I would like so much that the smiles of the end of the year continue. A smile costs nothing but can do a lot of good.

It only remains for me to reiterate my sincere wishes for health, success and happiness for the year 2021, as well as the assurance of my unalterable attachment.
