Haiti - Politic : Inauguration of the Place de Sylvestre

As part of the establishment of basic infrastructure in the country, Fils Aimé Ignace Saint-Fleur, Director General of the Office for the Monetization of Development Assistance Programs (BMPAD) at the head of a delegation of senior executives from the institution has proceeded to the inauguration of the Square of Sylvestre a locality of Mombin Crochu in the (Dept. of the North-East).

The inaugural ceremony took place in the presence of Cartel Members from the Mombin Crochu Town Hall, the Deputy Delegate of the Arrondissement de Vallières, Jocelin Louis, local representatives, religious leaders from the area and the local population.

Built on an area of ​​775m2, this modern public square is located in the 2nd section of Bois de Laurence (municipality of Mombin Crochu). It has a solar lighting system, green spaces, several play areas and a kiosk.

This square will serve not only as a place of recreation, meeting, entertainment, carrying out socio-cultural activities but also fulfillment, mainly for young people. This leisure space was therefore well received by the natives of Sylvestre.

The cost of the construction of this square amounted to approximately 5.6 million gourdes and lasted 3 months.
