EDH NOTICE : Electricity reduced this Sunday

Michel Présumé the Director General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs his subscribers "This Sunday March 28, 2021, the power on the metropolitan network will be reduced, because of the groups that will be shut down in order to facilitate maintenance work throughout that day. The General Directorate of EDH takes the opportunity to wish all its customers a good weekend and apologizes to its customers in the Metropolitan Area for the inconvenience that the ongoing maintenance work may cause them."

Soon Interpol on the trail of "Phantom 509"

In a note addressed to the Central Direction of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), the Government Commissioner near the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince, asks the DCPJ to seize Interpol in order to seek and bring to the authorities competent 13 members of the "Phantom 509" Group who are the subject of a search NOTICE.

Seizure of 33 kg of marijuana

This Friday, March 26, 2021 at around 11:00 a.m. at the Saint-Louis du Sud police station, the Police seized a quantity of 33.385 kg) of marijuana. This discovery and seizure was made in a Renault truck, white in color, registered TM 36230, during a surveillance operation carried out by the justice system and the Police.

Donation of equipment to the National Laboratory

This week the French Ambassador José Gomez accredited to Haiti, visiting the National Laboratory, handed over medical equipment financed by the French Development Agency (AFD) in support of the Ministry of Public Health, in order to improve patient care.

Elections : installation of West BED members

This week the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) proceeded with the installation of members of the Departmental Electoral Offices of West 1 and 2. Offices which will also be used for the referendum on the new Constitution.

Closure of the Orlando Consulate

The Consulate of the Republic of Haiti in Orlando informs the Haitian Community of Central Florida and the Press in particular and informs them that the Consular Post will be closed on Thursday April 1 and Friday April 2, 2021 on the occasion of the "Easter". The activities of the Consulate will resume normally on Monday April 5, 2021 from 9:30 am.
