Haiti - FLASH : Statements and testimony from Colombia about the Commando

Friday July 9, 2021 General Jorge Luis Vargas Valencia, Director General of the Colombian National Police, declared at a press conference in Bogotá that four companies could have participated in the "recruitment and regrouping of the people" involved in the assassination of the President of Haiti Jovenel Moïse, without however mentioning the name of these companies due to "ongoing verifications". These men, including 17 former military, traveled in two separate groups to Haiti via the Dominican Republic.

The woman said the last time she spoke to her husband was Wednesday July 7 around 10 p.m., some 20 hours after the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, and he told her that he was on duty in a house where he and other people were staying, without further details "The next day, he wrote to me to say goodbye, that he was running away, that they had attacked him [...] since I no longer had any contact with him," declared his wife who knew little about her husband's activities and who affirms that she did not even know that he had gone to Haiti...

Note that the former Colombian soldiers trained by the United States, are in great demand by private security companies to participate in conflict zones around the world due to their experience in combat against the guerrillas of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and the powerful drug cartels. But also for executions for money...

In addition, in Haiti, Judge Clément Noël, who heard and ordered the custody of James Solages and Joseph Vincent declared that these two Americans of Haitian origin who lived in Florida, admitted that they were serving as translators to members of the commando and affirmed that the mercenaries had initially planned only to arrest Moses, not to kill him...
