The DG of BMPAD threatened with death

Fils Aimé Ignace Saint Fleur, Director General of the Office for the Monetization of Development Aid Programs (BMPAD) affirms that since the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, he has been the subject of death threats and had to change his habits, modify his movements and spend his nights in different places. He points to individuals linked to the sale of fuel in the country without naming them.

PM Promises justice for President Moïse

Wednesday July 28, 3 weeks after the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, the Prime Minister promised to continue to prosecute those responsible, affirming “We will ensure the continuation of the investigation into the assassination of the President of the Republic. All the sponsors, perpetrators of this murder must be brought to justice. It’s a matter of State [...] Everyone involved in this crime will be hunted down everywhere and brought to justice."

Canada : Haitian Embassy closed

The Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Canada is informing the Haitian community and the general public that its premises will be closed on Friday July 30 from 1 p.m. and Monday August 2. Activities will resume on Tuesday August 3, 2021.
