This week, Haitian migrants taken from the makeshift camp of Del Rio, Texas, who were transported in a federally contracted white bus to San Antonio, Texas, have never arrived.

During the 2h30 drive from Del Rio, the Haitians revolted, they overpowered the federal law enforcement agents and took control of the vehicle before fleeing, confirmed a senior federal law enforcement official.

It is not known which federal agency, "U.S. Customs and Border Protection" (CBP) or "Immigration and Customs Enforcement" (ICE) supervised this transport.

Usually, CBP initially apprehends, transports and processes illegal immigrants, while ICE is responsible for long-term detention and deportation from the country.
