16 kidnappings in one week

Inspector General Marie Michelle Verrier, spokesperson for the National Police of Haiti (PNH) informed that 16 cases of kidnapping were recorded in the past week and that a dozen suspected kidnappers have been arrested.

Bahamas : More than 900 Haitians intercepted

More than 900 Haitian migrants were intercepted in the territorial waters of the Bahamas from September 22 to 27, according to the authorities of this country. Sunday in particular more than 400 migrants were apprehended and yesterday Monday 151 on the small island of Ragged. Bahamian authorities say they fear a massive wave of refugees.

Moïse assassination : Those arrested but not charged will be released

USA : Meeting on Haitian migration

The Prime Minister office denies

The Prime Minister office formally denies the information circulating on social networks, suggesting that the Prime Minister, Ariel Henry would have received $5.5 million in aid to Haitian immigrants repatriated by the American authorities. The Prime Minister specifies that these funds, allocated by the American Government, are collected directly and managed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the benefit of our expelled compatriots.
