Beginning November 8, 2021, U.S. citizens and vaccinated legal permanent residents returning to the United States will need a negative test performed within three days of departure, and unvaccinated citizens and permanent residents will need a negative test carried out one day before their departure.

Also beginning November 8, vaccinated Haitians will be able to travel to the United States by presenting proof of vaccination, a COVID-19 test performed within three days of departure and a valid nonimmigrant visa.
