Heavy ransom demanded for bus passengers

The kidnappers of the bus passengers, kidnapped on Tuesday, November 23 between Gros-Morne and Bassin Bleu https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-35315-haiti-flash-all-the-passengers-of-a-bus-kidnapped.html claim 1 million ransom gourdes per passenger for their releases.

Unions demand wage adjustment

Organizations in the trade union sector say they are concerned about the deterioration of the socio-political situation in the country. These organizations which also denounce the security climate and the fuel crisis plead for a wage adjustment for workers. They brandish article 137 of the labor code requiring an adjustment of wages when the inflation rate is greater than 10%.

First Council of Ministers

The Prime Minister a.i., Ariel Henry, chaired, yesterday afternoon, following the investiture of the members of the new ministerial cabinet, his first Council of Ministers where clear instructions were passed to the holders of the various ministries.

Investiture of the new Government
