Haiti - Politic : Not very frequentable relations of J-C Moïse could have caused his expulsion from the USA

The cancellation of the visa, the 5-year ban on residence in the United States and the expulsion to Haiti on Tuesday, January 25 of Jean Charles Moïse, leader of the radical opposition platform "Pitit Dessalin" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-35804-haiti-flash-former-senator-j-c-moise-expelled-from-the-united-states.html could be explained by his links with certain people in Venezuela, discovered by the agents of US immigration by searching Moïse's phone, in which they found "questionable contacts" and photos of Moïse with key people in the Maduro regime...

The Miami Herald explains that when immigration officials asked Moïse for his phone, he first presented a non-smart analog phone. Officers then tracked down his travel companions and recovered his smartphone that had been entrusted to them.

According to the Miami Herald, J-C Moïse would have met last June, in Caracas, Diosdado Cabello, Head of a drug cartel in Venezuela whose head is put at price for 10 Million dollars. A photo found in the phone shows Moïse fraternizing with Diosdado Cabello, which is the equivalent, as a US intelligence source in Venezuela pointed out, of being photographed with ex-Mexican drug lord Joaquin El Chapo Guzmán.

Added to this is the fraternal relationship of Moïse with Nicolas Maduro whose head is priced at 15 million dollars by the USA, diplomatic enemy of the United States who are convinced that Maduro is involved in the drug cartel with Diosdado Cabello whose the goods bound for the United States would pass through Haiti or the Dominican Republic, according to the American newspaper.

Reacting to this article, Moïse Jean-Charles rejects the assertions of the Miami Herald newspaper according to which it is his links with drug traffickers who would be at the origin of the cancellation of his visa and his expulsion from the United States.

Recall that Moïse said he wanted to "take legal action against the Americans" saying "The United States must tell me why they did all this." An action doomed in advance to failure if we are to believe the Brazilian expert Ricardo Seitenfus, former Special Representative of the Organization of American States (OAS) in Haiti https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-2000-haiti-politic-ricardo-seitenfus-voluntary-or-forced-departure.html which states "Under international law, deportation and expulsion are discretionary acts and States have no obligation legal to justify them or give the reasons."
