Friday, February 25, Dr. Martial Piard, specialist in anesthesiology and resuscitation, was kidnapped near the Hospital of the University of Haiti while parking his vehicle.

France finances school canteens

The French Embassy in Haiti actively participates in the National School Canteen Program (PNCS) of the Ministry of National Education Two programs are in progress. The first with a national partner which concerns 104 schools and 38,500 beneficiaries fully supplied by local products (rice, corn, beans). A second project funded by the French Embassy in Haiti is supported by the WFP, concerns 10,825 beneficiaries.
