The police inspector, Max Guillord, Head of Investigation of the Petit-Goâve Police Station, has been arrested on Sunday March 20, 2022 at JFK International Airport (New York) by the American authorities, and sent back to Haiti Monday morning at aboard a JetBlue airline plane.

Accused of attempted assassination of Mrs Darline Max Théodore, Max Guillord was the subject of a warrant to bring from the Public Prosecutor's Office to the Civil Court of Petit-Goâve and was wanted by the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), at the request of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ).

The facts date back to the night of Saturday March 19 to Sunday March 20, 2022 when Mrs Darline Max Théodore received 3 bullets fired by Max Guillord during an altercation.
