As part of the qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup India 2022, after qualifying for the 8th final by beating Guatemala [3-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-36538-haiti-flash-u17-women-s-world-cup-qualifier-our-grenadieres-qualified-for-the-8th-finals-video.html our young Grenadières faced Sunday, May 1st the Dominican Republic on the lawn of the Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium (Santo Domingo).

To everyone's surprise, our young Grenadières bowed without shining in front of the Dominican Republic in the 8th final [0-2] and were eliminated from the competition.

The 2 goals conceded in the first period by María Torreira at 39' [0-1] in favor of the Dominicans and that of Julia Jiménez at 42' [0-2], put an end to 3 years of dream and our young Grenadières said goodbye to the India 2022 World Cup.
