The Bureau of the Council of the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) has decided to extend until November 30, 2023, the mandate of the Normalization Committee of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) which ended on November 30, 2022. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-32508-haiti-flash-fifa-puts-the-haitian-football-federation-under-supervision.html

Despite the progress observed, the FIFA Bureau noted that certain key missions of the committee's mandate had not been fulfilled, mainly due to the Covid-19 pandemic but also to the general situation in Haiti which is facing to a political and humanitarian crisis against a backdrop of unprecedented violence.

The decision to extend the mandate was taken for the main purpose of allowing the Standardization Committee to carry out all the missions included in its mandate.
