Monday, January 9, 2023 during the Inauguration of the Odette Roy Fombrun Technical and Professional School of Meyotte, (municipality of Port-au-Prince), the Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry declared "[...] Beyond the major files which challenge the Nation for the year 2023, it is essential that education be at the center of the country's major development projects."

"[...] I salute the FNE team and its Director General, for the work accomplished with the tax money of the population and the fifty centimes of dollars from the diaspora which allowed the construction of this school and many other public schools.

[...] We hope to continue the major projects of educational reform, in particular for curriculum reform, renovated secondary education, vocational training, teacher training, the education information and management system, modernization of the national education system, the implementation of the single book, scientific research, etc...

[...] I renew my Government's commitment to work with the private sector, in defining the needs for qualified manpower and I encourage this sector to get closer to this center in order to better help supervise these young future graduates [...]" declared Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry
