In a note, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI) informs the general public, and sellers and retailers in particular, that for reasons of "PUBLIC HEALTH, the consumption and sale of 'White rice Loulouz, American rice' are prohibited throughout the national territory

The MCI explains "[...] a cargo of rice unfit for consumption and stored for destruction at the CARRIBEX was looted by ill-intentioned individuals."

The Ministry, which has taken all the measures through its inspectors to repatriate this product, calls on the population to be extremely vigilant.
