220th anniversary of the death of Toussaint Louverture

From April 6 to 8, 2023 the Destination North of Haiti Management Organization (OGDNH), the Ministries of Tourism and Culture in collaboration with other partners are organizing a series of activities commemorations of the 220th anniversary of the death of Toussaint Louverture in Cap-Haitien

April 6, 2023: Talk at the Oswald Durand auditorium (Bell Angelot, rue 18 H)

April 7: Unveiling of a fresco dedicated to Toussaint and torchlight procession in Breda

April 8: Screening of the film "Toussaint Louverture" at Lakou Breda.

Haiti on the agenda of the Security Council

Insecurity in Haiti should be on the agenda of the United Nations Security Council on April 26, 2023, where a session on the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH) and consultations are planned. In accordance with the objectives of the Strategic Plan for the Elimination of Malaria (PSNEM 2020-2025), the Ministry of Public Health through its National Program for the Control of Malaria, is implementing on April 4 and 5, 2023 a mass distribution of long-acting insecticide-treated mosquito nets.
