Haiti - NOTICE : Registration competition for the recruitment of Magistrates (Great North)

The Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) informs interested parties that a competition is open for the recruitment of law graduates who must undergo probationary training at the School of Magistracy (EMA) before becoming Magistrates who will be called to fill vacancies in the Courts of Peace located in the Great North.

Registrations will be received at the headquarters of the jurisdictions concerned, namely : the Courts of First Instance of Cap-Haitien, Fort-Liberté, Grande Rivière du Nord, Port-de-Paix, Gonaîves , Saint-Marc, Hinche and Mirebalais from June 5 to 9, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Conditions :

Be a citizen residing and domiciled in one or other of the localities that are part of the Great North;

Have an age limit between 25 years minimum and 45 years maximum at the time of registration.

Documents required at time of registration :

  • Two (2) passport photos of recent date;

  • Copy of National Identification Card (CIN) and tax number;

  • Birth certificate or extract from the Archives;

  • Certificate of Bacc I and II (original and photocopy);

  • Minutes of thesis defense (original and photocopy);

  • Licentiate in Law from a legally recognized University, Faculty of Law or Higher School (original and photocopy);

  • Certificate of good character issued by a Court of First Instance;

  • Certificate of residence

Note : It is understood that all those who have already submitted their documents during previous calls for applications can simply send a letter of reconfirmation.
