Friday August 4th, 2023, Gamall Jules Augustin Director General of the National Television of Haiti (TNH) and Fritz Deshommes Rector of the State University of Haiti (UEH) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the popularization of scientific knowledge, technical and cultural, in Creole and French.

in the presence of the Technical Director of Public Television, Mr. Yvon Auguste, members of the Rector's Office, some deans of UEH entities and executives of the institution.

Established for a renewable period of five (5), this MoU covers in particular educational technologies, open and distance learning and the dissemination of cultural, scientific and technical knowledge for the benefit of the university community and the general public.

By initialing this agreement, the National Television of Haiti undertakes to put a television channel for the use of the UEH, for the broadcasting of its programs.

For its part, the UEH undertakes to design and produce, for the purposes of broadcasting by the TNH, programs of a scientific, technical and cultural nature in areas of interest to national development. The UEH also undertakes to ensure that the content of the programs complies with civic, patriotic and democratic values.
