Haiti - Crises : Second survey on the situation of insecurity in Haiti (August 2023)

The Alliance for Risk Management and Business Continuity (AGERCA), concerned by the humanitarian and security crisis in Haiti, commissioned from the consulting company "Diagnosis & Development Group" (DDG), a second survey of opinion on the current insecurity situation in the country.

This survey, built on the same bases and the questionnaire as that of January 2023 https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-38781-icihaiti-insecurity-69-of-haitians-are-for-an-international-intervention-complete-survey.html , had the additional objective of understanding the perception of the population in relation to the evolution of the security situation in Haiti as well as their feelings vis-à-vis a possible foreign support to the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

In the outline of this survey, it should be noted that 66% believe that the situation of insecurity has deteriorated from January to July 2023 and that 68% agree that the PNH should immediately receive support from an international force to restore security in the country.
