Haiti - Sports: New infrastructures and a healthy environment for the Haitian youth

The new holder of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC), René Jean Roosevelt, declared during his installation his intention of wanting to create a healthy environment for the Haitian youth to do this he relies on a tripartite collaboration "with the collaboration of the Ministries of Culture and of Environment, we will mobilize our resources to create a healthy environment, banish juvenile delinquency..."

About the lack of sports infrastructure, the new Minister promises to solve this problem by providing the infrastructure that will enable countries to have more powerful athletes "without adequate sports facilities, our athletes have always represented our country properly. During my tenure, we will work to provide the country with infrastructure that will allow our athletes to perform better and to have more youth involved in a sport."

The Minister Roosevelt also promised to work with the numerous sports federations present on the national territory for a better development and a better promotion of the sport throughout the country.

He also took the opportunity to thank the President of the Republic, Michel Martelly and the Prime Minister, Garry Conille for this appointment, promising his full cooperation in implementing the projects aiming the development and the progress of the Haitian youth. He also relies on the support of the former holder of MJSAC, Évans Lescouflair.
