Episcopal Church of Haiti : Rebound in the arms trafficking case

The Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince, Me Edler Guillaume, dissatisfied with the order of investigating judge Marthel Jean-Claude in the case of arms and ammunition trafficking involving members of the Episcopal Church of Haiti (EEH) published on October 4 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-40654-haiti-episcopal-church-the-investigating-judge-issued-his-order-in-the-arms-and-ammunition-trafficking-case.html appealed the case. Consequently, for the moment, the 18 people exonerated in this case should go to prison... However, the Registry of the TPI affirms that no declaration of Appeal was found in the registers intended for this purpose. Furthermore, according to Pierre Espérance, Executive Director of RNDDH, the Court of Appeal should declare this appeal inadmissible as it was not made within the time limit provided for by law...
