The European Union, through its delegation in Haiti, is launching a national beat competition (rhythms), open to composers and "beatmakers" (rhythm composers) living in Haiti. The challenge ? Revisiting the European anthem to create a distinctive and memorable sound identity.

This unique competition encourages the creativity of the Haitian artistic community by offering a revisited version of the European anthem "Ode to joy". Participants have the opportunity to modernize and inspire through their creation. The winning work will be recorded and used as a soundtrack for various communications media and on various platforms.

Young creators are invited to participate and propose their inspiring adaptation of the hymn to joy. The competition offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the sound identity of the Delegation of the European Union.

November 26: End of application submissions

December 2: Pre-selection of finalists by the jury

December 12: Awards Ceremony - Winner Announcement
