The Cap-Haitien Fine Arts Museum created in March 2023 aims to highlight the talent of young painters from the North department and surrounding regions. Indeed, the museum aims to be a place of memory and interpretation, but also a space of renewal and challenge. In terms of visual expression linked to painting, Cape Town is best known for the artistic movement called the Cape School led by the famous painter Philomé Obin. This competition hopes to find hidden talents and give them the opportunity to make themselves known and evolve in the art world.

The main objective of this competition is to breathe new life into Northern Painting, by providing young artists with a place of expression and creation.

Registration for the 2023 Young Painters Competition must be done online one form per participant. Any other method of registration will not be taken into account by BOZAR-CAP.
