Massive entry into DR, 324 Haitians arrested

After the attempted mass entry into Dominican territory of several hundred Haitians on Saturday, December 9, 2023 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-41177-haiti-flash-several-hundred-haitians-attempt-a-massive-entry-into-the-dominican-rep-video.html trought Loma del Toro, in the upper part of the Sierra de Bahoruco, the Directorate General of Migration (DGM) announced that 324 Haitian nationals (out of an unknown total number) had been arrested by the Dominican military. After verification, our compatriots who were ALL in an irregular migration situation were repatriated to Haiti by migration agents via the Elías Piña border and the Jimaní border post.

A gang wants to control the bay of Port-au-Prince

The Village de Dieu gang is trying to impose its law and take control of the bay of Port-au-Prince in order to expand drug trafficking, according to specialists. The gang, which  controls the Lafiteau port area and Source Matelas, launched operations in the Brooklyn area of Cité Soleil.

Japan donation of vehicles to the PNH
