Haiti - FLASH : Permanent baccalaureate, first session for those who failed (test calendars)

Thursday December 14, 2023, the Ministry of National Education informed that the first session of the permanent baccalaureate for those who failed for the 2023-2024 academic year, will take place at the national level from Monday 18 to Friday December 22, 2023 .

35,979 failed candidates will participate in the tests (more than 42% of candidates will compose in the West department.)

For his part, Renan Michel, the Head of the National Office of State Examinations (BUNEXE) reminded candidates that they will have to perform in subjects for which they did not obtain an average in previous exams. Renan Michel communicated the schedule of these exams by asking those in charge of the 178 centers throughout the country to display this schedule in their centers so that all students can be well informed in which subjects they will write each day.

Meniol Jeune the Director General of the Ministry of National Education recalled the instructions for candidates, supervisors, supervisors and all other people involved, in one way or another, in the success of these exams which must be respected among these: the ban on entering centers with weapons, the ban on using phone, without forgetting the sanctions provided for all candidates and center staff who commit fraud.
