Friday December 15, 2023, the Haitian National Police (PNH) arrested in the Commune of Bonbon (Grand’Anse) the leader of the Tiburon gang, "Timazò".

Success of the "Haiti à Déguster" Festival

The first “Haïti à Déguster” Festival which took place on Saturday December 16, 2023 in the new 4,000m2 Convention Center of the El Rancho hotel, aimed to highlight Haitian gastronomy. This festival, which brought together 33 exhibitors including around twenty chefs and restaurants, was a real success with more than 3,000 visitors. Panama : Modernization of Haitian customs

As part of the implementation of the Haitian customs modernization program, a meeting took place in Panama City between the Director General of Haitian Customs and his counterpart from Panama. The exchange of information, the strengthening of the operational capacities of Customs Agents, the sharing of experiences, the facilitation of international trade were the strong points of this meeting which aims to sign a memorandum of understanding between the two customs authorities.

The USA reiterates its support for Haiti

The American Chargé d'affaires Eric Stromayer in Haiti, speaking at the end-of-year cocktail of the American Chamber of Commerce in Haiti (AMCHAM), renewed the support of the United States for the economic development of the country and recalled that the United States will always stand by Haiti.

The C3 Éditions awarded

Éditions C3 received the Frankétienne Prize for Excellence from the Office for Citizen Protection (OPC) for "their contribution to the development of the literary community and the promotion of Haitian writers."
