The Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MAEC) has launched the MAEC-AECID 2024/2025 scholarship programs.

Master’s program :

a) University Master’s degree:

Scholarships for civil servants or public employees of a permanent and not temporary nature, including the education and university system, to obtain a (official) university master's degree in Spain.

Countrie s: Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti Honduras, Paraguay, Peru.

b) Water master:

Scholarships for professionals in urban water cycle management, to obtain a university or own master's degree in the field of urban water cycle management in Spain.

Countries : Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru and Panama.

Deadline for submission of applications: February 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.

Diplomatic School Program:

Scholarships for the interuniversity master's degree in diplomacy and international relations from the Diplomatic School for permanent and non-temporary civil servants or public agents from Latin America.

Countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

Deadline for submission of applications: March 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.

Registration procedure :

Applicants to all programs must meet established requirements and provide required documents, in accordance with the provisions of each program. Non-Spanish speaking applicants must have knowledge of Spanish. Interested parties must apply in accordance with the requirements, form and deadlines indicated in sections 2 and 3, and for each program listed in the corresponding annexes of the call: https://www.aecid.gob.es/es/Paginas/DetalleProcedimiento.aspx?idp=519 in particular the following:

Once the deadlines have expired, applicants will be informed, if necessary, of the need to rectify the documentation and will be given additional time to do so, the instructing body will check whether the applications comply with the established requirements and will propose rejection of those who are not
