Thursday, April 11, 2024, the draw for the Group Stage of the U-20 men's championship of the Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) took place at the headquarters of the confederation in Miami, FL. This stage determined the composition of the Groups for the Qualification Round for the FIFA U-20 Men's World Cup Chile 2025.

This qualifying phase will take place from July 19 to August 4, 2024 in Mexico, in the state of Guanajuato, with Irapuato and Celaya as host cities.

This competition will bring together the 12 best U-20 teams in Concacaf, including the top 6: United States, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, as well as the 6 teams who won their respective groups in the first round : Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Canada, Haiti and Jamaica.

The young Grenadiers are firstly aiming to qualify for the quarter-finals, an opportunity reserved for the first two teams in the group or, failing that, the two best third-placed teams in the competition. Then, they hope to qualify for the World Cup by reaching the semi-finals and win one of the four qualifying places reserved for Concacaf for the FIFA U-20 World Cup which will host 24 teams in this category in Chile in 2025.
