Haiti - Pirates : A boat carrying 1,500 bags of rice hijacked

Saturday April 13 in the evening, heavily armed individuals committed an act of piracy at sea, by hijacking near Arcahaie the ship “Jevi Vle” which was heading towards the island of La Gonâve towards the old flour mill with on board 1,500 bags of rice

These pirates also kidnapped the 6 crew members. The information was confirmed by the authorities of the Maritime and Navigation Service of Haiti (SEMANAH)
