Haiti - Reconstruction : Important business delegation from Belgium and Holland in Haiti

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CHIC) and the Centre of Facilitation of Investments (CFI) welcome from November 13 to 16, 2011 an important delegation of the Trade Promotion Agency of the Flemish Region of Belgium and Holland, to establish business relationships with local operators.

This delegation has as objectives :

To identify the projects benefiting from the support of the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission (IHRC) and of the international financial institutions likely to involve the members of the group in their achievements.

To explore, from "one and one," the possibilities of relations with local businesses within the framework of projects in question or any other business opportunities identified.

This mission is largely composed of representatives of 33 engineering companies in infrastructure, ports, bridges, tunnel, steel construction, protection against floods, environment, electrical distribution, energy, dredging, filtering and water bottling, recycling of debris, port facilities, handling of heavy machinery, food processing, textile industry, agro-industry, micro-finance...

The CCIH and the CFI invites to local operators to meet in their respective sectors, the members of the delegation. Meetings "one and one" will be held Monday, November 14 from 2:30 to 6:00 pm and Wednesday, November 16 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
