Friday, May 31, Presidential Advisor Frinel Joseph visited the premises of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to learn about the needs of the CEP to relaunch the electoral process.

He met with the Executive Director and other staff members of the institution to examine what should be done to revive the electoral process and initiate the process to appoint members of the new Board of the CEP.

Advisor Joseph promises that the Transitional Presidential Council will work to activate the electoral machine in order to respect the date of February 7, 2026 for the transfer of power with a team resulting from elections which must be held at the end of 2024, as provided for in the Agreement from April 3rd, 2024.
