Haiti - FLASH : «Barbecue» announces terror in the town of Delmas (video)

Thursday June 13, 2024, in a video, former police officer Jimmy Cherizier, alias "Barbecue", head of the gang coalition “G9”, and leader of the alliance of the two largest gang coalitions in Haiti "G9" and “G pèp”, better known as "Viv Ansanm", announced that in the coming days "terror" would take over the town of Delmas.

"Barbecue" who claims to be in the commune of Delmas warned the National Police of Haiti (PNH) to stop pursuing him and to send armored vehicles to fight him, promising dark days in the Delmas region.

Remember that "Barbecue" assumes responsibility for the ambush during which three police officers from the Anti-Gang Tactical Unit (UTAG) died last weekend and the armored vehicle in which they were located was looted and burned https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-42522-haiti-insecurity-an-armored-vehicle-burned-3-police-officers-killed.html

He said his next attacks will be directed against businesses of the economic elite located around the town of Delmas in Port-au-Prince. He asserts that it is politicians and the economic elite who trained and equipped the bandits in working-class neighborhoods, warning "it is likely that in the coming days there will be major clashes at the bottom of Delmas."
