This Monday, November 14, Sophia Martelly, the First Lady of the Republic of Haiti visited the former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide and his wife Mildred Trouillot-Aristide. According to our information, it would be a simple courtesy visit. Recall that as part of the national reconciliation, the President Michel Martelly, had met on the morning of October 12, the former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in his home in Tabarre.

During the meeting the President Martelly ahad declared "He received me as one of his own [...] We are all Haitians on this land, that's the signal we need to send out." While Aristide had declared "Today we must agree, talk, dialogue, to make of Haiti a beautiful country..."
