Haiti - Reconstruction : The Engineering contingents of the Minustah are at work

As part of the engineering work that regularly perform the various military engineering contingents, several works are currently underway.

The Brazilian contingent BRAENGCOY is currently in charge of the execution of the repair of roads and the installation of drainage systems of boulevard 15 octobre up to the road of Frères [completed 50%]. Repair of roads, site preparation and well digging in Croix-des-Bouquets [completed 100%] and the paving of streets as part of the recycling project in Delmas [completed 15%].

The Brazilian Company of Engineering has also provided the necessary support to remove the three bells of the Cathedral of Port-au-Prince which risked to fall at any time and are now safe.

For its part, the Korean contingent ROKENGCOY is currently in charge of the execution of the rehabilitation work of the school "Life line Christian Mission" in Léogâne [completed 80%] and the rehabilitation of the bridge over the river Momance in Léogâne. [100% completed].

Finally, the Chilean contingent CHIECUENGCOY is currently responsible for carrying out the paving of certain sections of the Route Nationale #1.
