Earlier last week, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) organized a working session with executives from the National Identification Office (ONI).

Discussions focused on the audit of the ONI in order to provide the population with assurance of the reliability of the system.

In addition, the Ministry of Justice plans to set up a National Identification Card (CIN) registration and distribution structure for the diaspora. This decision by the Ministry reflects the government's desire to strengthen the participation of the Haitian diaspora in the country's political life.

The MJSP is doing everything possible to ensure inclusive and transparent elections in the country.
