Thursday, February 20 at the end of the day, a new health bulletin from the Holy See indicates that the State of Health of the Holy Father hospitalized since Friday, February 14 at the Agostino Gemelli hospital in Rome, is "slightly improving." The bulletin specifies that Pope Francis has "no fever" and that "his blood parameters remain stable."

Already during the day, cardinals had been encouraging about the state of health of Pope Francis, assuring that the latter was "on the right track."

We also learned that the Pope still has "a few outbreaks of pneumonia," but that he continues to breathe independently and that his heart is still fine.

The Sovereign Pontiff spent "a peaceful night" and "had breakfast in an armchair." In the morning, "he received the Eucharist" and during the day, from his hospital room, Pope Francis continued his mission. He appointed Father François Gourdon as the new Bishop of Saint-Dié in France on Thursday noon.

This Friday morning, February 21, the press office of the Holy See reported that "The night went well, this morning Pope Francis got up and had breakfast." confirming the previous day's information on a slight improvement in his health
