The "Minister" Louis Farrakhan, leader of the political and religious organization "Nation of Islam," will be in Haiti from December 11 to 15, 2011. The purpose of his visit is to interact with some sectors of the country to encourage a great movement aiming the union of all the Haitians so that they could together tackle the task of the reconstruction of Haiti.

Mr. Farrakhan, who has already made installed in the Plaine du Cul-de-Sac, a treatment plant water solar powered, with a capacity of 30,000 gallons per day, also plans to make an assessment of needs of the country in order to determine how increase his contribution in the field of humanitarian assistance.

He also wants to establish a constructive dialogue with all the religious authorities of the country and then call the public in a huge "Meeting of the Unit for the Advancement of Haitian families" during which he will launch a message to promote the reconciliation, union and peace in Haiti. Fruitful contacts have already been established with the Episcopal Conference, Religions for Peace in Haiti, the Protestant Federation of Haiti and the Ati Max Beauvoir.
