Yesterday, the Office of the First Lady of the Republic has made the draw of the raffle "Christmas of academics", organized for students of State University. 130 coupons were drawn at random. These winners received television, motorcycles, laptops, cookers, mobile phones, envelopes surprises, dinners for two, USB Internet, radios, portable DVD, savings accounts, food baskets, gift certificates books and recharge cards. Other awards will be designated this weekend with the support students of the State University and a notary.

To ensure greater transparency in the draw, the notary Jean Emmanuel Alaby was invited to take part. Also closely followed every step of this activity, some students and representatives of the UEH. Also, as promised, the draw was broadcast live on state television.

Through this initiative, which is a first at the level of the UEH, the Office of the First Lady intends to enable students to benefit from the various gifts from the First Lady on the occasion of Christmas and the holiday season.

Note that for Christmas, the caravan of the Office of the First Lady has already made fortunate in La Gonave (adults and children), in the gardens of College St Pierre (senior citizens), the National Palace (widows and children of police officers killed in the exercise of their duties), in Peguy Ville, to the Secretariat of State for Integration of Persons with Disabilities and to the Social Welfare Fund and others.

This raffle organized by the Office of the First Lady reflects the interest of the Presidency for young academics. Besides the welcome initiative of this raffle "Christmas of academics" many projects are being considered by the government, and the Presidency to allow Haitian students to grow in conditions worthy of their rank.
